WOW......I have my own little slice of blog heaven. Finally, the American dream has come true for millions of Americans. To be able to babble on their own blog, almost free of censorship and ridicule..........of course,this is CBS, and despite the great work that the Admins do (That quiet sound is my applause), they still sometimes have a draconian view of postings.
I keep playing in my mind, that scene of Monty Python and the Holy Grail, where Sir Lancelot goes into the castle where they have the Holy Grail beacon, only the virgins are saying "BLOG ME!!!", and he is there, with a laptop, trying to keep them happy, and his virtue intact.
Seen a lot of blogs.........some witty, some informative, some that make the reader dumber by reading it (I know I know I Know - SHADDUP!!!!), some who take the blog as a personal whining zone. Thought that is what MySpace and FaceBook are about: Social Networking, while talking about how harsh are parents/teachers/friends are.
I am in a odder than normal brain space............found out yesterday that my boss was fired on Friday. Kinda struck me funny. I will admit that I didn't like her as a person, but she was (I thought) a good boss, and she always got me the hours I needed to do what I needed to do.
SO, anyway..............thinking about baseball (And Thank God for that): Thinking that the Mariners got a real good chance. I LOVE the pick-ups of Bedard and Silva (Maybe not the most talented guy, but he is a BIG innings eater), which not only helps to strengthen the starting pitching, but REALLY helps the bullpen, which really got into a nasty, nasty slump in September/Oct, and help Putz get more saves, and that will help even more. So, if they can pick up a DH (Balco Barry is unemployed, Mariners management..................), they got a great shot. Of course, most fans think that their teams have a great shot.
Got a door sign for my son...............says "My Universe - STAY OUT!!! His control freak mother is gonna LOVE seeing that.................LOL
